Matthew Parker -

"I'm responsible for planning and leading the basketball sessions. I want to create a fun and engaging community and culture too. My aim is to create performance-based environments where athletes can, if they wish, play professionally domestically or abroad. I’m a strength and conditioning graduate and have the knowledge on how to build and support athletes throughout their athletic journey. I’ve been fortunate enough to play professional basketball in a number of countries, find out more about my journey at www.mattparkerbasketball.com."

David Onyinah -

"I am responsible for actioning and coordinating club activities behind-the-scenes. I aim to apply the skills and knowledge that I have accumulated from my time spent around basketball in the U.K and U.S for the benefit of the club. I am a Biology graduate, having recently returned to Nottingham after a brief period studying Biochemistry in a research lab in Israel. Find out more about me from my LinkedIn profile: "David Onyinah | LinkedIn"
"I’m the owner and main therapist for RecoverPro, which specialises in injury prevention and also the treatment of the acute and chronic of injuries an athlete can be exposed to throughout their career. I liase with our coaches and take in feedback from the players to construct practices that will keep them on court for longer, pain and injury free. The baseline of performance is health. If you are not healthy, you cannot improve, compete, or perform. My website is linked here: www.recoverpro.org"

Belinda O'Connor -

"I work in education where safeguarding is a vital part of my every day role, and for which I undertake annual training. In addition to this training, I have completed a FSW (Family Support Worker) and more recently have undertaken the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport and Physical Training course. I am also a qualified paediatric first aider."
Elijah Gray-Finch -
Psychology Consultant/Specialist
"My psychology degree and professional work experience enables me to, through personalised strategies and interventions, help players develop resilience, focus, and confidence both on and off the court. By fostering a positive team culture and providing support in managing stress, anxiety, and performance pressure, I aim to optimise our athletes' mental strength and overall team cohesion. Together, we work towards achieving peak performance, reaching our full potential as a cohesive unit and as individuals within the context of basketball."
The club have the right to interchange coaches as and when for availability reasons to ensure competitions are ran smoothly.
"I joined this awesome club in August and have since become an active part of the coaching team across all age groups. From day one, I’ve taken a hands-on approach, working throughout the club to implement my Greek basketball philosophy — focusing on strong fundamentals, discipline, teamwork, and building a competitive mindset. My role centers on developing players both individually and collectively, helping them grow technically, tactically, and mentally. My aim is not only to improve performance on the court, but also to instill a deep understanding of the game and a winning mentality that players can carry forward in their basketball journey.
